About
California State University, Northridge (CSUN) aspires to behave as an inclusive, cooperative
community and is dedicated to putting student success at the center. We strive to ensure all
students have the support they need to meet their academic, personal, and professional goals.
a11y+ is a student enterprise consisting of students and faculty from computer science, visual
design, engineering, liberal arts, and other areas for advancing digital accessibility. a11y+ provides
learning and training to students and prepares them for technology and design careers.
Incorporating learn-by-doing models, students and faculty will work together to not only research
the further improvement of accessibility but also to provide services to both on-campus and off-
campus organizations in order to ensure a seamless experience for everyone in our community.
By bridging art, design, engineering, science, and technology, a11y+ creates learning opportunities for URM students and beyond, with a relentless focus on career networks for all students.
